I'll be honest - I was never a "soak in the bath" type of girl. The idea of just sitting in water was a bit 'ick' to me and I thought I could probably be using my time a lot more productively. But that was the problem. I kept pushing self-care aside, thinking I should be doing more important things.... until I hit burnout.
Upon recommendations from many others, I tried the whole soak in the bath thing again, however, I created my own luxury bath salts drawing upon aromatherapy to help me actually enjoy it. It felt luxe, bougie, I came out smelling amazing and my skin was so soft.
